The Complete Home Package combines whole-home softening and filtration with a separate AlkaPro 800 tankless RO at the kitchen sink. The main-line equipment treats water before it reaches household fixtures; the drinking-water unit has a different job and its own dedicated faucet.
Less new mineral scale
Softening removes calcium and magnesium hardness before water reaches treated fixtures and appliances. This reduces the minerals available to form new deposits in a water heater, shower or dishwasher; it does not instantly remove existing scale.
Better everyday washing water
Softened water reduces the interaction between hardness minerals and soap. That can make lathering and rinsing easier and reduce hard-water residue on laundry and glassware without promising a fixed detergent saving.
Taste and odor treatment at the main line
The carbon portion addresses disinfectant-related taste and odor. Media selection and contact time matter, so the water source and household flow demand are reviewed together rather than assuming every address needs the same configuration.
A dedicated drinking-water finish
The AlkaPro 800 uses reverse osmosis for drinking and cooking water, followed by remineralization for taste. Its tankless design avoids a separate under-sink storage tank, leaving that space available for other cabinet storage.
How the equipment works
Softening resin exchanges hardness minerals and is regenerated using salt from the brine tank. The whole-home filtration media treats water at the point of entry. At the kitchen, a separate membrane-based RO system feeds the dedicated drinking faucet; it is not a whole-house RO installation.
What it does not do
The base package is not a universal well-water solution or a disinfection system. Sediment prefiltration, iron/sulfur treatment and UV are separate options when the water calls for them. A component certification does not establish certification of the assembled package or guarantee removal of every contaminant.
What we confirm before installation
We confirm source water, hardness, fixture demand, loop location, bypass access, drain routing and power for the whole-home controls. The kitchen also needs cabinet clearance, a suitable outlet, supply and drain connections, and an agreed faucet location. Nonstandard plumbing, electrical and optional equipment belong in the written scope.
Ongoing care and service
Keep the brine tank supplied with the recommended salt, check for salt bridging and know where the bypass is. Replace RO cartridges and membranes according to the installed model's instructions and water conditions. Whole-home media, RO consumables and installation plumbing have different maintenance and warranty terms.

Before we leave we label the valves, walk you through the bypass, set your first service reminder and haul the packaging away.
Sized to your address, not a catalog default
We size resin volume and regeneration frequency to your measured hardness and household size so you are not paying for capacity you will never use or running short in the summer.
Chloramine is handled, not ignored
Standard carbon struggles with chloramine. The granular activated carbon in this package is selected specifically for chloramine reduction, so the smell and taste at the shower and tap genuinely go away.
Warranty and guarantee
For the Large Mixed Media Bed package, all dry parts carry lifetime coverage, the media bed and control valve carry 5 years, and plumbing completed as part of the installation carries 2 years. The AlkaPro 800 reverse osmosis system carries a 1 year manufacturer warranty. Filters and membranes are scheduled consumables.

Will the package drop my water pressure?
No. The equipment is sized for household flow rates, so you should not notice a meaningful pressure change after installation.
How much maintenance does the package need?
Salt in the brine tank every few months, RO cartridges about once a year and a media check on our service visit. The tank media is measured in years, not months.
