Privacy Policy
What we collect when you request a water filtration quote, and how we handle SMS, email, and service communications.
Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how CleanLine Water Co. of Austin ("CleanLine Water Co.", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information through cleanlinewaterco.com and our sales, installation and service operations in Austin and Central Texas. We are a water treatment company serving Travis, Williamson, Hays, Comal and Bexar counties. You can reach us any time at info@cleanlinewaterco.com.
Effective date: August 20, 2026.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote we collect your name, phone number, email address, service address, the system you are interested in, and any details you choose to share about your water. If you call, text or email us we keep that correspondence, including call recordings and text message history, so we can quote and service your system later.
Information we collect automatically. When you visit the site we collect standard device and usage data such as pages viewed, IP address, browser type, approximate location, and the date and time of your visit.
Advertising and referral data. When you arrive from an ad or a search result, we collect the referring source and campaign parameters such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, Google Click Identifier (GCLID) and Meta Click Identifier (FBCLID), together with the cookies and identifiers set by Google and Meta. We store these alongside your quote request so we can tell which ad or search produced it.
Lead information from ad platforms. If you submit a lead form directly inside Google or Facebook or Instagram, that platform sends us the contact information and answers you provided in that form, and we handle it under this policy.
How we use your information
We use your details to prepare a quote, schedule an in-home walkthrough, install and service your system, and follow up about filter changes or warranty needs. By submitting a quote request you are asking us to contact you about that request, and we may do so by phone, email or text.
We also use the information described above to measure and improve our advertising: to attribute a quote request to the ad or search that produced it, to report conversions to Google and Meta, to avoid showing you ads for something you already bought, and to build audiences for future advertising.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
SMS and text messaging
CleanLine Water Co LLC operates an informational and customer care messaging program, and sends messages only to people who expressly opt in. The opt-in method is the quote form on this website: you enter your phone number and check the optional SMS consent box. The box is unchecked by default and you can submit the form without checking it.
Messages may include quote confirmations, scheduling, appointment reminders, installation updates, service follow-ups, warranty communication, and filter-change reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier and plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Reply STOP to opt out at any time; you will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. Reply HELP for assistance, or email info@cleanlinewaterco.com. Consent is not a condition of purchase. CleanLine Water Co LLC does not purchase or import phone lists. Full program details are on our SMS Terms and Messaging Policy page.
Mobile information and third parties
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except aggregators and messaging service providers strictly required to deliver messages on our behalf.
We do not sell or rent phone numbers under any circumstances.
Email marketing
If you provide your email address, we may send you quote follow-ups, installation updates, filter change reminders, and occasional promotional emails about CleanLine Water Co. products and services. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email or by emailing info@cleanlinewaterco.com. Even if you unsubscribe from marketing messages, we may still send you transactional emails related to your quote, installation, or service.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics 4, the Google Ads conversion tag, Google Tag Manager and the Meta pixel. These tools set first- and third-party cookies and collect device identifiers so we can measure traffic, understand which pages are useful, and see which campaigns produce quote requests.
You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings without losing access to the site. Where required by law, advertising and analytics tags load only after you consent, and we honor Global Privacy Control and similar browser opt-out signals.
Advertising, remarketing and conversion measurement
We advertise on Google properties (Search, YouTube, Display and the Google Display Network) and on Meta properties (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and the Audience Network). Google and Meta may use cookies, pixels and mobile advertising identifiers to show you CleanLine Water Co. ads on other sites and apps after you visit ours. This is commonly called remarketing or retargeting.
Where we combine Google Analytics data with Google advertising cookies, we may use Google Analytics Advertising Features, including remarketing audiences and demographic and interest reporting. We do not use this data to identify you personally in analytics, and we never merge personally identifiable information into Google Analytics.
We use the Meta pixel and Meta's Conversions API, and Google's conversion tag and enhanced conversions, to report that a quote request or purchase happened. When we send conversion data that includes contact information such as an email address or phone number, that information is hashed with SHA-256 in transit before it leaves our systems, in line with Google's and Meta's requirements. We only send this data for our own measurement and audience building, never for another advertiser's use.
We may upload hashed customer or lead lists to Google Customer Match and Meta Custom Audiences to reach or exclude existing customers, and we may share offline conversion events (for example, a quote that turned into an installation) so the platforms can measure the results of our ads. We only upload information for people who provided it to us directly, and we honor deletion and opt-out requests by removing the record from those lists.
Sensitive information and ad targeting
We do not use sensitive categories of information for advertising. We do not build or share audiences based on health conditions, financial hardship, race, religion, sexual orientation, political affiliation, immigration status or any other protected or sensitive category, and we do not knowingly target ads to anyone under 18.
Please do not include health, financial account, government ID or other sensitive details in a quote form. We only need the information required to size and price a water treatment system.
Your advertising choices
You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and control the ads Google shows you at myadcenter.google.com and adssettings.google.com. You can control the ads Meta shows you in your Facebook or Instagram Ad Preferences and Off-Facebook Activity settings.
You can also opt out of many interest-based ads through optout.aboutads.info (DAA), optout.networkadvertising.org (NAI) and youradchoices.com, or by using your device's "Limit Ad Tracking" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" setting. Opting out stops personalized ads; you may still see general ads for CleanLine Water Co.
To have us remove you from our advertising audiences and offline conversion uploads entirely, email info@cleanlinewaterco.com and we will delete your record from those lists.
Do not sell or share my personal information
We do not sell personal information for money. Some U.S. state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act and the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, treat the use of advertising cookies and the sharing of identifiers with Google and Meta for cross-context behavioral advertising as a "sale" or "share." To the extent that applies to us, you may opt out at any time by emailing info@cleanlinewaterco.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share," by disabling advertising cookies in your browser, or by enabling Global Privacy Control.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
State privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of targeted advertising and profiling, and to appeal a decision we make about your request. Texas, California, Colorado, Virginia and several other states provide these rights.
Email info@cleanlinewaterco.com to make a request. We will verify your identity using the contact information already on file and respond within the time required by law, generally 45 days. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission.
Data retention and security
Quote requests and customer records are retained for as long as we maintain a customer relationship or as required for warranty records. Access is limited to CleanLine Water Co. staff who need it to do their job. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information.
Third-party service providers
We use trusted third-party providers to send text messages and emails, host our website and database, and run analytics and advertising. These currently include Twilio (calls and SMS), our email delivery provider, our cloud hosting and database provider, Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Google Ads) and Meta (pixel, Conversions API, Custom Audiences). These providers only access the information needed to perform their services for us.
Google and Meta act as independent controllers for some advertising uses of the data they collect, governed by their own privacy policies at policies.google.com/privacy and facebook.com/privacy/policy. Where required, we have entered into their data processing and business terms and we confirm we have the rights and consents needed for any customer data we share with them.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct, delete, or limit how we use your information at any time by emailing info@cleanlinewaterco.com. We will confirm once the request is complete. You may also opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP and unsubscribe from marketing emails by clicking the link in any email.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for homeowners and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it.
