Drinking-water treatment without a separate storage tank
The AlkaPro 800 is CleanLine's tankless under-sink reverse osmosis option. It uses a membrane, supporting filtration and alkaline remineralization, with a digital TDS readout and filter-life indicators for everyday monitoring.
Water for drinking and cooking
RO reduces dissolved solids at a dedicated kitchen faucet. That gives the household a separate supply for drinks, cooking and filling an ice tray rather than treating every gallon in the house with RO.
No separate storage vessel
Water is produced on demand, so a pressurized storage tank does not occupy the cabinet. The unit still needs clearance for its body, tubing and filter replacement.
Remineralization for taste
An alkaline polishing stage follows membrane treatment. It is a taste preference, not a medical claim or a guarantee of a particular pH under all conditions.
A visible maintenance reference
The display provides a TDS reading and filter-life indicators. They help monitor the system, but a low TDS reading alone does not prove every contaminant has been removed.
How the equipment works
The documented configuration combines sediment/carbon pretreatment, an RO membrane and post-filtration with alkaline polish. The membrane is rated up to 800 gallons per day under rated conditions. That is production capacity, not a promise of 800 gallons stored or a guaranteed faucet flow in every home.
What it does not do
Actual production depends on water pressure, temperature and feed-water conditions. RO sends reject water to drain and needs electricity for tankless operation. Contaminant-specific or certification claims require documentation for the actual model, not an assumption based on the term reverse osmosis.
What we confirm before installation
We check cabinet dimensions, a suitable nearby outlet, cold-water supply, drain connection and faucet placement. A refrigerator connection is optional and requires a suitable route and compatibility check. Faucet finish and any extra plumbing are confirmed in the written scope.
Ongoing care and service
Replace the correct cartridges and membrane according to the AlkaPro instructions, indicators and source-water conditions; reset indicators only after the relevant service. Whole-home pretreatment can reduce the hardness/disinfectant load on the RO. The RO system has a 1 year manufacturer warranty; consumables are separate.

Tankless versus tank reverse osmosis
A classic RO makes water slowly and stores it in a pressurized tank. That works well for most families, but the tank takes up cabinet space and the last of the water can taste flat if it has been sitting.
A tankless unit produces at the moment you open the faucet, so every glass is freshly made and the cabinet stays usable. The tradeoff is that it needs an electrical outlet nearby.

Best paired with whole home treatment

Does the tankless RO need electricity?
Yes. It uses a booster pump to produce on demand, so we need a standard outlet inside or near the sink cabinet.
Does tankless RO need a separate storage tank?
No. The AlkaPro 800 produces drinking water on demand without a separate storage tank. It requires a suitable nearby electrical outlet, which we check during installation planning.
Can it feed my refrigerator ice maker?
Yes. We can tee the output to the refrigerator during the same visit when the run is reasonable.
